|Sommers-Bausch Observatory - University of Colorado|
Here is the entire laboratory manual used by the ASTR 1030 classes (Astrophysical & Planetary Sciences Department), available in Adobe Acrobat Reader format. If you don't already have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer, you can download it for free from Adobe Customer Support.
ASTR 1030 Students - The ASTR 1030 lab manual is available from the CU Bookstore at a nominal cost (price of printing only). However, if you should lose your original hard-copy, replacement hard-copies are not available. This is where you can get replacement copies of the lab book, or individual exercises, as you need them at no additional charge.
Instructors - If you're looking for ideas for your own class instruction, or are curious about what we're doing here at the University of Colorado, feel free to download the manual, or any portion thereof. We'd appreciate hearing your comments and criticisms. If you'd like to use any of these exercises yourself, please contact us - you're welcome to the information (ideas are free), but we wouldn't mind getting the credit....
Here's where you can pick up a complete copy of the entire manual:
